As part of the Istituto Europeo di Design's collaboration in promoting photography students' participation for important projects and contests supported by renowned private and public entities, senior students were invited to compete in the selection of images for the shows "Venice Biennale: Dance, Music, Theater 2002". As a result, the photographic image of my creation was selected to advertise the show "SoloMen" in Venice, Italy.

Así como la reflexión del Neoplatonismo gira en torno a la procesión del alma en su viaje desde y hacia el uno primordial, buscando siempre la purificación en su recorrido hacia el origen, mi trabajo fotográfico intenta evidenciar el principio espiritual de la ciudad, cuando el alba y el atardecer dan forma a la vida, nacimiento y ocaso, principio y fin: el origen primordial al cual queremos y tendemos a regresar y del cual venimos. La materialidad y la corporeidad desaparecen y los espacios son atravesados e inundados con la luz del alma en sincronía con el alma universal.
I am a professional photographer specializing in Design & Architectural images as well as Portrait & Fine Art pictures.
Through my experience as a visual communicator, I have developed a very delicate and intimate style that speaks strongly about the subject.
I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, where I studied Advertising, focusing on Graphic Communications. In 2000 I relocated to Milan, Italy where I obtained a Photography degree at Istituto Europeo di Design and worked at Master Photo Milano as a Photo Editor for seven years.
The experiences I obtained in Europe and my Latin background make an excellent combination to create forceful visual concepts. In fact, this is the key to my production.
